Base trip up to four guests: €2500 per person Base trip from 5-8 guests: €2000 per person. Post trip in Dubrovnik or in Barcelona: €700 per person Croatia is a very cheap country to eat out, the food is fresh and of tremendously high quality. The country has one of the healthiest standards of living in Europe for a fraction of the price of the USA and most places in Europe. I like the Croatians, they are good decent people and are known for saying it as it is. Many of them owe their livelihoods to the sea whether it’s tourism, trade or fishing. The seafood in Croatia to my mind is as good as anything in Italy or Greece, maybe even better. Culinary standards are very high and very affordable. Everyone speaks English nowadays and young Croatians are highly trained professionals in the tourism and hospitality sector. Temperatures: 65-75 degrees daily and should be dry, as it was completely for me in 2018 and almost perfectly for us in 2019. When we travel: value season, less traffic, less noise, less scrambling to get in line. Still good weather, plenty of sunshine and some days you could just walk around in a t-shirt and shorts.
