Caribbean Delights of Puerto Rico and Miami 11 Days
Based in Miami for 5 nights, we'll be exploring the historic city and the surprising amount of incredible Art Deco buildings. In addition, we'll take you on a boat trip exploring the homes of the world's most famous celebrities on Star Island, head over to Cape Canaveral to visit NASA's world class outdoor and indoor musuem based on the history of space exploration.
NASA is one of the greatest visits anywhere in the world and will easily encapsulate the visitor for 4-6 hours so we'll make a day of it here. As Elon Musk and SpaceX along with his competitors Jeff Bezos and Boeing progess to the next level in our solar system's exploration, this is more of a pertinet visit than ever before, a historic place documenting the first lunar missions. One gets up close and personal with space shuttles, space suits, lunar vehicles and mission control. We'll go to the Everglades National Park and down as far as Key West to learn more about the diverse flora and fauna of the area.
A quick flight takes us to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and its capital San Juan. The old town is truly beautiful Spanish colonial style, but what Puerto Rico really does well is outstanding nature, excellent food and incredibly warm and friendly people, who are all fluent speakers of both English and Spanish.
There are many interesting attractions to keep us entertained in Puerto Rico and we'll visit two forts, a couple of museums, the most stunning places of natural beauty and meet some artisans. There will also be a visit to two Rum producers, Bacardi and a more niche product which we'll be happy for people to sample upon our visit. Following our time in Puerto Rico, enjoying the street art, culture, food, drink and great hospitality, we'll make our way back to Miami for an overnight and that wraps up the trip with a farewell dinner.
